Are Towel Rails Standard Size?
Towel rails don’t come in a set defined sized, but almost all of them fall withing a range. That range is about 300mm, all the way up to 900mm.
600mm represents the middle ground that is both suitable for medium to large bathrooms. If your bathroom is particularly small, we’d recommend 450mm or less.
Where Do You Install a Towel Rail?
It’s a smart idea to fix a towel rail onto the longest wall in the bathroom as that way you won’t be crowding any other bathroom fixtures. You want to install a towel rail at least 1m above the floor.
In terms of location, someplace relatively close to the shower or bath is a practical choice.
